Some first look photos of Caitlin as the newly named Maxine in the film THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT. This film looks like it’s going to be quirky. Given it stars Sam Elliott and Rob Livingston, all’s good.

It was last summer when we last wrote about Epic Pictures Group’s period drama/monster movie The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot. Since then there has been little to speak of… until today. We’re incredibly excited to bring you your first look at the film with several images, all of which can be seen below, including the first image of the titular Bigfoot!

The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot features the incredible cast of Sam Elliott (The Big Lebowski, Ghost Rider), Aidan Turner (The Hobbit, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones), Ron Livingston (Office Space, The Conjuring), Caitlin FitzGerald (“UnREAL,” Manhattan Romance), Larry Miller (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), and Ellar Coltrane (Boyhood, The Circle, Blood Money).

Synopsis:
The story follows a legendary American war veteran named Calvin Barr, who, decades after serving in WWII and assassinating Adolf Hitler, must now hunt down the fabled Bigfoot. Living a peaceful life in New England, the former veteran is contacted by the FBI and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to lead the charge as the creature is carrying a deadly plague and is hidden deep inside the Canadian wilderness.

Written and directed by Robert D. Krzykowski, who produces alongside Patrick Ewald, Shaked Berenson, and Lucky McKee, the film is executive produced by John Sayles, Louise Lovegrove, and Douglas Trumbull (2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind) and features VFX overseen by three-time Academy Award nominated Richard Yuricich (Blade Runner, Event Horizon, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.)

Starz has released the first trailer for Caitlin’s new series SWEETBITTER. Caitlin plays Simone. This show is based on the successful novel of the same name.

Sweetbitter: Watch the first trailer for the Starz adaptation of the best-seller

Behind the swinging doors to the kitchen of any restaurant in New York City there exists a secret world, a hidden ecosystem of chefs, servers, bussers, and bartenders falling in and out of love as they bring out filets and vintage Syrah to their discerning patrons.

Sweetbitter, based on the 2016 novel by Stephanie Danler, follows Tess, a naïve 22-year-old backwaitress at an eminent New York City restaurant who begins her education in food and wine and relationships with the help of her coworkers.

Danler, who had also worked as a waitress, famously sold the novel after meeting publisher Peter Gethers at the restaurant where she was working. The author serves as creator, executive producer, and a writer on the show.

Starring Ella Purnell (Never Let Me Go, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) as Tess, the cast also features Tom Sturridge and Caitlin FitzGerald (Masters of Sex) as the bartender and older waitress with whom she falls into a chaotic love-triangle.

Sweetbitter premieres on Starz on Sunday, May 6.

Here is Caitlin’s very first episode as Serena Wolcott from last night’s UnREAL. Strong start and Caitlin was as always her best. Enjoy.

Caitlin appeared in a season two double header in the series CODE BLACK, due to return to CBS in May. Caitlin played the part of Gretchen Kerr a doctor who works with the Centre for Disease Control (CDC). I’m hoping this might be a recurring character for her. She was quite good in these episodes.

Here are the screencaps for Caitlin’s appearance on the CBS police drama BLUE BLOODS. Here Caitlin plays the part of Benita, the girlfriend of the victim in the show. however, she’s someone with a bit of a secret….. She killed her own boyfriend. Final scene is a gutpunch.

Caitlin gave an interview in advance of the premiere of her debut in the show UNREAL as Serena. Here she discusses her past roles in the various television roles she’s done over the past ten years she’s been in the business.

UnREAL’s Caitlin FitzGerald Reflects on SVU, New Girl, Rectify and More Roles, Talks Everlasting’s Lady-Led Season

According to Caitlin FitzGerald, we all have a little Bachelor or Bachelorette in us.

It’s a good thing she does, as she plays Serena, Everlasting’s first female suitor in the third season of UnREAL, premiering Monday, Feb. 26, at 10/9c on Lifetime.

To catch up those of you that haven’t seen the show, UnREAL is a drama that follows the behind-the-scenes chaos that goes into producing Everlasting, a Bachelor-type reality-show-within-the-show.

“This crazy thing that I discovered when we were shooting UnREAL is that it’s so part of the culture, those shows, that when it came to things like the elimination ceremonies, I knew exactly the kind of cadence and rhythm and where to take the dramatic pause. Like it’s just part of our DNA at this point, I think,” FitzGerald said.

In the season ahead, Serena challenges Quinn (Everlasting’s pushy executive producer, played by Constance Zimmer) and Rachel (the show’s much-needed producer/Quinn’s pawn, played by Shiri Appleby) in ways that the male suitors have not.

FitzGerald explains how “the gender piece is a huge part of the difference [from previous seasons], particularly because I don’t think Rachel and Quinn have met their match before, and I think my character, Serena, really can hold her own with the two of them.”

Don’t worry — FitzGerald promises that the new season will have all the “dark and twisted things we love about UnREAL.”

Before spending a few months looking for love on UnREAL, FitzGerald built a career playing twins, a Center for Disease Control executive, a magazine editor and a murderer. We took a trip down memory lane with her to hear what she had to say about some of her most memorable television appearances.

Click through the gallery above — or go here to see it directly — to get a glimpse of FitzGerald’s TV resumé.

Memories From the Set: Caitlin FitzGerald

LAW & ORDER: SVU

FitzGerald’s “rite of passage” into the acting world was like many other actors’ — an episode of SVU. In her first television appearance, she played twins, one of whom gets involved in the illegal animal-smuggling business and ultimately is mauled by a big cat. “I had this insane tiger mauling prosthetic on my neck so I was like ‘I’ve arrived. Here I am. I’m a real actor now.’”

BLUE BLOODS

It was “a nice surprise,” FitzGerald says of finding out she would be the killer on an episode of Blue Bloods. She played the “innocent” fiance of a murdered New York City doorman. “I think it’s the first and last killer I’ve played, so I’d love another crack at it.”

GOSSIP GIRL

FitzGerald recalls the amazing New York City locations that Gossip Girl brought her to during her time as Epperly Lawrence, Blair’s (Leighton Meester) boss at W Magazine. “That was such a fun job,” she says. “They shot in the most unbelievable locations, like hidden locations all over New York. Places you would never normally get to see.” And they really did shoot at W Magazine!

NEW GIRL

A fan of the show since Day 1, Fitzgerald says she cherished her time with the cast of the Fox comedy. She even got to practice her improvisation skills. “Everyone is so incredibly funny and so kind and actually they’re changing lines all the time. It’s play. It was a blast.”

MASTERS OF SEX

Viewers saw an amazing progression in FitzGerald’s Libby Masters, from housewife to hippie over the four seasons that Masters of Sex ran on Showtime. But FitzGerald says the experience that has stuck with her the most over the two years since the show’s finale is Libby’s time in a nudist colony: “I’m probably one of the few actors on the planet who’s gotten to work with 150 naked people for a couple of days straight. So whatever happens in my career, I have that.”

RECTIFY

“Wasn’t it gorgeous?” FitzGerald says of Rectify‘s final — and much-discussed among fans — final scene, which showed Aden Young’s Daniel walking toward FitzGerald’s Chloe. “We were in Georgia, just south of Atlanta, and I had never really spent time there and it was just so spectacularly beautiful where we were. That’s one of my all-time favorite shooting days. The weather was perfect, and this angelic baby — it was just magic.”

CODE BLACK

FitzGerald remembers needing a little help when it came to medical jargon on Code Black. The actress did her research before starting to film her role of a higher-up at the CDC, but she still wanted to make sure she sounded knowledgeable. Thank goodness for on-set experts! “They have people on set usually for things like that,” she says, “where if you have questions and need expert advice, there are people there to be like ‘Oh, this is what this is,’ ‘This is how a doctor would respond in this moment,’ things like that, which was really nice.”
